Will Slider Extensions interact with Lumira Charts

Hello Experts,

I am able to successfully deploy a Slider extension there in Lumira but as per our business need we have to make the slider interact with other inbuilt Lumira charts as the drop down does in the compose tab..

If we write a JS with the slider and the chart that will work only for the extension.. Looks like extensions are stand alone..

Please let me know if my understanding is correct or if there is any way to do so..
