How to add summery column in Cross Tab report

Hi Experts,

Currently I have report of following format,

	April—2016	May—2016	June—2016	July—2016	Aug—2016	Sum-2016
Item1	1	1	2	2	4	10
Item2	10		7			17
Item3	20	30		2	5	57
Total	31	31	9	4	9	84

I want following format

	April—2016	May—2016	June—2016	July—2016	Aug—2016	Sum-2016	Sum-2015(From April to Aug 2015)
Item1	1	1	2	2	4	10	9
Item2	10		7			17	15
Item3	20	30		2	5	57	40
Total	31	31	9	4	9	84	64

SO can anyone tell me how to add this previous year summery field in current report.?

Hi Mahesh,

If you need that column in a crosstab, you'd need to use 'Calculated Members' > calculate the summary value for each item outside the crosstab > Use some complex array logic to print the value for each item in the crosstab.

Or, you could use a SQL Query that returns just the summarized columns you need per item.

Hi Abhilash,

I tried your solutions but it is not working. Now i did is that i added new column in procedure as YOY  for records of Year 2015 & then i put that in summery field of cross tab report. i suppressed month-2015 data from other column. I am able to get additional column now but only issue is that i am not able to get its total as shown below in RED color.

	April—2016	May—2016	June—2016	July—2016	Aug—2016	Sum-2016	Sum-2015(From April to Aug 2015)
Item1	1	1	2	2	4	10	9
Item2	10		7			17	15
Item3	20	30		2	5	57	40
Total	31	31	9	4	9	84	64

Can you help in that?
