Adding new field for Field Update Rule Type in Workflow

Dear All,

Is there any way to include new field for the field update for the business object "Lead" in workflow.

For example,when the approval status turns to Approved,Is it possible to change the status of the lead? Because Status field is not available to create a condition.

Hi Logan,

The 'Status' is a field with business logic behind it - to ensure that status is moved only to the next relevant lifecycle status .

Setting incorrect status can make the instance inconsistent. Hence this field is not exposed for field updates.

As said you may raise ticket and check the feasibility.

Raise an ticket requesting for the same if this field status can be addd to the field update in work flow.

the field status is not enabled for the Lead BO.
