Desktop Alert and Email Alert

Hi All,

While setting up scheduled tasks for data import monitoring. Can anyone please let me know what is the difference between "Desktop Alert" and "Email Alert" for Receipt Notice Type and Completion Notice Type.

From what I understood, Email Alert is used to send email to the given Email ID on receipt and completion of task. But not sure about Desktop Alert.

    Hi Ankit,

    "Desktop Alert" allows the notification to be displayed in the Desktop Channel "Alerts".
