Hello Nick,

please make sure to use at least SCC 2.7.2 for this purpose, better 2.8.1.1, which is the latest one. Versions older than 2.7.2 are not supporting Windows 10.
Moreover, you should be a little bit more precise what the concrete issues are. With the current information it's difficult to consult.

Best regards,

Markus

hello Markus

more details about the Windows 10, 64 bit surface:

1. java under system Programme i have: Java 8 update 101, 3 Programms all concern about java 8

2. Windows -> Programm files -> Java: have 2 entries jdk1.8.0_101 same entries with different size?!

2.1. do i have to delete one? if yes which one?

3. the HCP Connector software i installed under: c:\sap\s4hana\

3.1. here i tried all options, please tell me what i have to download in which sequence and what intervention except extracting the files.

3.2. somewhere are written restrictions but if i implemented jdk 7, it did not work either.

thanks for your help.

Hi Nick,

as Markus already said, we can't help you, if you don't tell us, what error you actually get. On Windows there is not much to do: just double click on the installer and it guides you through the installation.

Hi Nick,

?????   Hmmm.

This does not look like an SCC error message at all. "SAP B1iP" seems to be SAP Business One, so most probably the following is wrong here:

On the same host, where you try to install the SCC, SAP Business One is already installed and is occupying the same port 8443. So when you try to connect to localhost:8443, you don't connect to the SCC, but to the B1iP programm... (In fact: in the log files of the SCC you should see an error message that it cannot allocate port 8443 from the operating system and therefore aborts during startup.)

Solution: change the UI port of the SCC to something else (for example 7443 or some other free port) as described in Changing the UI Port , start the SCC again and then connect to localhost:7443.

Best Regards, Ulrich
