Hi,
I created a croostab report with [As_Of_Date] column, [Current Balances] Values and [Products] rows. Now I put the Differences Variance for the columns but does not allow me to move the columns and if you change the dates of selection displays an error of arguments. I check this in the Calculate Member formula and the issue is when the As Of Dates changes then cracks the formula because the formula recorded previously CDateTime (2017,2,6,00,00,00).
On the other hand i need to be able to move the columns of Differences to the left.
I Saw this post https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3434351 for abhilash.kumar and it's works but generate a difference column calculation for the next column of As of date.
The Differences calculation must be:
{Yesterday}-{Before Yesterday} Like 2/6/2017-2/3/2017
{Yesterday}-{Last Month Date} Like 2/6/2017-1/31/2017
{Yesterday}-{Last Year Date} Like 2/6/2017-12/30/2016
{Yesterday}-{Oct 7 2016} Like 2/6/2017-10/7/2016
See that I need crosstab-sample.gif
Hi,
It's possible two put any generic formula value in the insertion formula for the calculated member?
For example: CDateTime (2017,03,22,00,00,00) when I refresh to change this date to 3/23 the calculated member that show me the variance is missing.
So, I try to create many formulas to display the CDateTime value estructure with no result.
Any idea for this.

As I can say to croostab that has fewer columns so that this message does not appear.
Some help with this please!

Hello Abhilash,
Recently I put in the calculate member this formula por each column GridValueAt (CurrentRowIndex, GetNumColumns - 2, 0) - GridValueAt (CurrentRowIndex, 5, 0) and right know I have 4 columns and I received the message (see attached). What is the syntax to recognize this change?

Hi Kumar, I have Deski tool and I saw this syntax for the same report. The formula in the variable field is:
This is for the variance yesterday minus before yesterday.
<current balance>where [asofdate]='2/6/2017'-<current balance>where [asofdate]='2/3/2017'
It's possible to create any syntax similar in the formula for crystal reports and put in the croostab column?

Good question. The croostab change to four if the last month is my before yesterday. For example if I need the difference for 2/1/2017 to 1/31/2017. That's the only way to change because my last month is my before yesterday.
