Hi all,
we are obligated to perform a license auditing.
When grouping the users in SLAW2 (loaded from the output files of USMM) on our Solution Manager, the result is simply wrong. All the old, invalid users are shown too. Also the license Type 11 (multimandant) is not correctly resolved with the referenced user and type. But we get no error messages.
I think this is because of that we just upgraded our ERP-Systems to EHP 8 SPS 3 and in june it worked. I looked at the USMM-output files and the version is now 6.20 instead of 6.10 on EHP7.
Do i have to update the LAW on the SolMan? Did anyone experienced a similar problem with EHP 8?
Edit: I implemented Note 1770377, but still the same.
Regards
Thorben
Hi Thorben,
Para from guide: Getting Started with the License Administration
Workbench 2.0 (LAW 2.0)
You start the License Administration Workbench 2.0 (LAW 2.0) with transaction code SLAW2 in SAP GUI. When LAW 2.0 is started for the first time, you can confirm with Yes that the processing of RFC results is switched to LAW 2.0. If you want RFC results to still be processed with the previous version of LAW, this setting can be changed at any time. If you choose No RFC results will continue to be processed with the previous LAW version.
Also go through below link and sap note.
