Hi folks, I would like to know what are your suggestions to solve the following requirement:
Actual scenario:
1. piece failure is found
2. It is made traceability to identify batches involved through a transaction Z.
3. Lots that are in the plant, are blocked by another transaction Z.
4. Some of these lots found already in transit to other plants
5. The list of lots with problems is sent to other plants
6. The person responsible for the plants awaiting the arrival of lots and blocks in the system
Desired requirement:
System suitability for the lots can be blocked, even when in transit to another plant. And which remain blocked when the plant receiving the batch.
Hi Michel,
when you batch level is defined on material or client level you can use the batch status.
BR,
Dieter

Hello Michel,
You can activate batch status management in Customizing, but before you activate it, you have to think carefully about the impact on logistic processes (Depends on your system, warehouses, external warehouses...). If you activate batch status management you have two status on batches (unrestricted, batch restricted).
If your batch level is on material or client level you can change the status in all storage locations with simple one click.
BR,
Dieter
