Default line items based of request type

Hi Experts,

We would like to configure our New Account Request with a default system line item. Basically, when the end user selects the request as New Account the system should automatically enter the system line item.

Is this possible to configure?

Thank you

Vasco

    Hi Vasco,

Automatic addition of system line item as per the request type(New) is not possible as per the standard functionality. If you want the system line item in the access request it has to be manually added.

I would suggest you to check with an ABAP WD consultant if some customization can be done for the automatic addition.

Also note that from the system line item you will be introducing redundancy as the target system is already associated with the role(s) selected in access request.

You also need to enable "GRAC_MSMP_ROUTE_NO_ROLEOWNER" routing rule for handling the system line item before the request reaches the role owner.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Manju

    Hello Vasco,

You can use template based request to achieve this by adding the system line item in the template.
