Archiving. Problem with Content Repository

Hello experts,

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a space with SARA-like questions, so I'm posting my question here. Sorry if I ask too simple question, but I'm new in archiving. It would be really great if you could help me.

I customized my SolMan system for archiving and I successful archived few messages for test purpose. However, despite the file was created successful, I get the error when I click on StorageSyst.-> Store File -> Management "Storage Error"

The first button shows no problem

but the second shows

"Archive file 000003-001CRM_INCDNT does not exist"

I suppose, that the problem is that the file named and stored as CRM_SSD_2016, but it tried to find 000003-001CRM_INCDNT. On the other hand it successful verified the file on the first step.

BTW, storage system is set as local and it's active.

Permissions on the transfer directory are set as follows:

drwxrwxr-x   2 sidadm   sapsys

2 Sep  1 15:55 crmreq/

Please tell me whether this error is critical or not? If it's critical what may be the consequences and how to resolve the issue?

Hello Artem,

Process failed while storing the file on storage system. Could be due to storage system not available when storage job ran, or issue on the file system. Please check to make sure <sid>adm user have proper permissions at location(directory) where archiving process is writing the files.

Try to execute the Storejob again either from the storage button or Management button in SARA, Select session in Management and then press Storage System button. in the window "Archive Administration:Store/Retrieve Files"  press store files button. Process will try to store file again.

Another reason, you might have more than one application server and File system is not visible/available on other app servers.

Thank you for the reply. I checked the permissions and their are ok, otherwise I wouldn't get my CRM_SSD_2016 file.

When I try to reexecute the store job, but the error appears

Archive file 000003-001CRM_INCDNT does not exis
Error occured when checking the stored archive file 000003-001CRM_INCDNT

I have just one application server so it cannot be the reason of the issue.

I also have tried the following trick: I copied my CRM_SSD_2016 file with 000003-001CRM_INCDNT name. After run the store function again, the program couldn't find the newly copied file.

I don't know how and where Store program searches for the files.

Hello Artem,

I noticed that transfer directory in content repository  is different then Physical file name location.

Can you paste customizing --> Technical Settings  screen from SARA for the object you are trying to archive.

Another step you can do view your file in AL11.

No need to change the filename, as you mentioned in reply.

Hello Hardeep,

here is the settings:

in tcode FILE I see for ARCHIVE_DATA_FILE

where ARCHIVE_GLOBAL_PATH is referring to

and where DIR_GLOBAL is referring to /usr/sap/SID/SYS/global that is linked to /sapmnt/SID/global

But for ARCHIVE_DATA_FILE I activated routing and it contains the following logical file name (without conditions)

If I understand right, paths for repository and for archive files might be different.
