TREX Upgrade

Hi All,

We are in process of upgrading our Trex Application running on Linux OS.

Current version of Trex is 7.10 rev 58.

While doing search I could see there is no later release available on marketplace after 7.10 and only different revisions are available.

My question is there any compatiblity issue of Trex 7.10 with NW 7.5. I do not find much information on Trex version compatibility and any other         perquisite check before Trex Upgrade.

Hi Shivam,

There is no dependency for SAP Netweaver 7.5 on TREX 7.1 rev <XX>.

You have to only check the revision of TREX 7.1 which will be compatible with your OS version from PAM.

If you can tell me the Operating system , i can tell you the revision for the same

Thanks for your reply, Our Trex is running on Redhat Linux 6.7 X86_64.

Not sure for some reason when I search in PAM, It does not show any information on TREX.

Also came through the OSS note - 965097 which confirms TREX Operation systems.

Hi Shivam, the TREX 710 is supported with RHEL 7 starting the TREX 710 REV 70 . Although the REV 58  can be used with RHEL 6 I would like to recommend to update the TREX to the latest patch level. Best regards, Mikhail
