Initial Load of Transactional Data into C4C

Hello all,

We have a requirement wherein we need to do an Initial Load into C4C, all transactional data like Leads, Tickets, Activities etc. from a CRM system.

Unfortunately we cannot use the excel functionality due to the huge number of records. The are about 10 lakh records for each (Leads, Activities, Tickets) and from my previous experience, through excel we can upload a maximum of 20 thousand at a time, post which there are issues during the upload.

From the Initial CRM to C4C Data Load Document available at the service marketplace, found the standard programs that exist for Leads, Activities and Opportunities.

Have not found any way to do an Initial Load for Tickets. Can anybody shed some light on the Tickets part and if we can achieve it?

Thanks and regards,

Nikhil Pais

Hi Nikhil,

You can use web services to migrate data from a legacy system. You have to consume C4C web services in your legacy system. Also as per my knowledge there is no limits when you are using migration templates.

Hello Suresh,

Thank you for your response. The post you mentioned talks about number of records which once replicated which might cause performance issues in C4C.

My questions were specific to import of transactional data related to Tickets from a legacy system into C4C and if there is a initial data load program for this, and at a given point of time is there a cap on the number of records I can bring in through excel?
