ObjectList and CustomList | Scrolling enabled

I am using objectListItem for Mobile mode and CustomListItem during desktop mode to display list of cost objects. I need to load new information at scrolling up(down) | page up(down) event.

Could someone put some light on this?

    Hi Somnath,

What is your parent container for list? Is it Page?

If so, will this sample help? Plunker

Scroll Down / up to see the alert where it is registered on scroll event.

    • Many thanks for your reply , yes that was close but my requirement is little different.

I am using a fragment as dialog where ( dependent controller is S4), I have my xml structure as below

      FragmentDefiniton > Scroll container(id = scroll) > List

Here on scroll to the end of this list I need to trigger next batch set of data request. I was trying addeventdeligate > onAfterendering > get Scroll container reference and then doing setGrowingList this possibly recognizing my scrolling down but I can't get main controller reference (s4), also not able to understand whether my scrolling reaches at end or not.

Please let me know if you have any suggestion on this.

    HI Paul,

you can use the growing properties of the list. Below are the properties of the list which will be useful to implement growing functionality of the list .

    1. growing="true"
    2. growingThreshold="4"
    3. growingScrollToLoad="false"

    • Hello Sakthivel, Thanks for pointing out this feature, would be very helpful if you please elaborate with an example. As this is what I am looking for but what I know, growing is a feature if we set it as 'true', then automatically 'more' would be available at the end of the list and that would not be a server side call , but client side rendering.

So I assume you are not taking me into that direction, so possibly would be nice if you have some example to refer.

With select dialog this is being handled automatically ( out of the box feature ) so far I have seen but I am using sap.m.List.

One more point to add: I am binding local json model to my List.

      - Thanks ,
