We created a new Master Inspection Characteristic and Class Characteristic . When I add the MIC to the Material Specification using QS61, the MIC appears but the Class Characteristic does not appear.
You do have the general characteristic assigned in the batch class and the material assigned to that batch class right?
It won't read in a general characteristic that isn't already assigned to the class.
If you enter in a MIC that has a general characteristic assigned to it, but the general characteristic is NOT assigned in the class, only the MIC information is pulled into QS61.
If the characteristic is not assigend in the class, there is no reason to pull that info into QS61.

Are you sure the linkage is there?
Is it possible you have multiple versions of the MIC and you specified the wrong version in QS61?

I am sure I selecting correct version. I can give you one example ,
I open one existing QS61 for a material, initially it has MICs and there class charecteriscic and I also check the MIC also, Now for testing I just delete any one of MIC from QS61, Then again I when I am trying to assign same MIC , I found class characteristic is not coming.
If you can suggest me what is correct steps for assign MIC to a material specification (QS61) so that class characteristic also appear in QS61.
