Approval SAP B1

Dear team,

Currently we are working with on approval stage with one super user as authorizer. I want to add add one more authorizer to this approval procedure.But we only need an approval from one of them. If I update the existing stage it show error "Cannot update approval stage; existing authorization processes are based on current stage".If I create a new stage with new authorizer new template is it solve my problem ? please help
