Hello all,

I am updating a ECC EHP3 System to ECC EHP7 and encounter the following error during the phase EHP_INCLUSION.

2 ETN085X"Calculate pure CRT Queue" "for installed Add-ons" "and already applied Support Packages" " "

3 ETN112 The OCS Package Queue is empty

2 ETN085X"Adding Add-on Installation Queue" " " " " " "

2WETN260 The Installation/Upgrade Package for Add-on "WEBCUIF" rel. "700" is not available

1 ETN214X."**************************************************"

1 ETN251  End of phase: "'Add-on Queue Calculation'"

1 ETN254      End date: "27.08.2016"

1 ETN255      End time: "11:21:59"

1 ETN214 ."**************************************************"

4 EPU202XEND OF SECTION BEING ANALYZED END OF EHP_INCLUSION ================================================

I was thinking if I should install this add-on beforehand. The answer negative since our system is on 700 but not 701 as specified in SAP Note 1162090 - Overview or release strategy for ABAP add-on WEBCUIF

Any idea on how to proceed ?

Thanks.

Chiwo

Hello all,

I managed to get the response from SAP Support. He checked the internal tables and asked me to include also the Attribute Package SAP_APPL==604. Then the error was gone and with more new errors

3 ETN245 The following import prerequisites of OCS Package "SAPK-604BGINERECRUIT" have not been met:

3 ETN264   In the (alternatively) Requirement set "01":

3WETN492 Required Add-On component "SAP_BS_FND" rel."701" is not installed

2WETN543 OCS package "SAPK-604BGINERECRUIT" does not match the current software component vector

Then I added the ACP ERECURIT===604 and retried with INIT option

2WETN543 OCS package "SAPK-604BGINLSOFE" does not match the current software component vector

Then I added the ACP LSOFE===604 and retried with INIT option

2WETN424 Package "SAPK-605DHINEAGLTRAD" : "SAPK-60401INEAGLTRAD" "P" "Necessary Support Package is not available"

Then I added the ACP EA-GLTRADE 605 and retried with INIT option

2WETN424 Package "SAPK-605DHINECCDIMP" : "SAPK-60401INECCDIMP" "P" "Necessary Support Package is not available"

Then I added the ACP ECC-DIMP 605 and retried with INIT option

2WETN543 OCS package "SAPK-605BGINERECRUIT" does not match the current software component vector

Then I added the ACP ERECURIT 605 and retried with INIT option

2WETN543 OCS package "SAPK-605IHINSEMBW" does not match the current software component vector

Then I added the ACP SEM-BW====605 and retried with INIT option

3WETN492 Required Add-On component "SAP_BS_FND" rel."702" is not installed

2WETN543 OCS package "SAPK-605BGINLSOFE" does not match the current software component vector

Then I added the ACP LSOFE=====605 and retried with INIT option

The errors were all gone, data and cofiles were extracted to SUM directory accordingly.

Note that I could never see these packages in the XML file. Apparently there is something wrong with MOPZ/MP.

Hope it helps.

Chiwo

Hi Chiwo,

Check if you have package K-731BHINWEBCUIF.SAR in the download directory. If yes, remove it.
This can be deleted from OS level or moved to some other location.

Check if you have SAPK-731BHINWEBCUIF in the ../EPS/in/ directory. If yes, remove it.
How to check -> Tx. SEPS -> GoTo -> Inxox -> Seach with package name
If you find this with status 'C' then select and delete it. Status would change to 'D'.

Once above are done, repat the phase.

Thank you.

Hello Garurav,

I encounter the same error after following the suggestions.

Is the error still same. Was these present in download or ../EPS/in/ ?

It might be that internal tables are filled with attributes. One suggestion would be to,

1. Reset the SUM tool.
2. Make sure that download directory have only packages mentioned in stack.xml file. No additional installation/upgrade packages. Additional Kernel related SAR files are okay to have.
3. Empty the ../EPS/in/ Directory. You can move the files to some other location instead of deleting incase you need them for later use.
4. Start the upgrade again from scratch.

Hello Gaurav,

Thanks for the prompt follow-ups.

Yes, I confirm that the package 731 has the status D and I still have the same error encountered.

I will definitely try to reset the upgrade.

For your information, I put the Upgrade Export right there, it should not be necessary @ all.

Hi Chiwo,

Just a question about the EHP SPS location. In your above post you have mentioned media DVD as "SAP:::MM::BD51048902_6".

So have you downloaded the SP stack as per MOPZ or MP or you are trying to use Upgrade Export DVDs (51048902*)?

Thanks,

Manish

Hello Manish,

Yes, I downloaded the SPS according to MOPZ / MP. It's my mistake to put the upgrade export DVD right there.

Hi Chiwo,

Please download the ACP SAP_APPL==604 and extract it in ../EPS/in/ directory.
After that it should continue.

One small trick for creating the ACP name in case you have further issue after adding ACP as it will bring new attributes.

Check for which this is failing then consider the following.

ACP name is 13 character long.
ACP name consistent of 3 parts (First / Middle / Last)

First part is component name: Example SAP_APPL
Last part is release: Example 604
Middle part is : a number of = to make complete name 13 character long.

SAP_APPL -> 8 char
604 -> 3 character

So I included 2 = in middle part . So ACP name became SAP_APPL==604.

Download the ACP for problematic packages and then it should continue.

Hello Gaurav,

Thanks for the feedback. It definitely brings us some insight on ACP

Still, I am not sure about the correctness of the resultant XML. As you know, I generated them with MOPZ and MP and some of the ACPs (from my latest response) were actually missing.

Have a great day.

Hi Chiwo,

Attach the stack.xml file also. Make sure that all the WEBCUIF packages mentioned in stack.xml file exist in download directory or in ../EPS/in/

Hello Gaurav,

Thanks for the feedback.

I attached 2 XMLs which were generated from MOPZ and also MP. (Please rename it to ZIP and extract the files inside )

Still, the WEBCUIF 700 never exists in these XMLs. I have opened a customer message in SAP side and would let you know if I get something new.

Hi Chiwo,

R/3 connection would be needed to check. Make sure to open it and provide user details in sap secure area.
I have seem in most cases this occurs due to wrong calculation because of addional packages being available in queue so connection to check the internal tables would be needed.

Hi,

For your information, when I upgraded my system to EHP7, this add-on was also upgraded by SUM from WEBCUIF 700 Patch 14 to 747 Patch 10 without any problem. No error was reported. Could you check the status of this add-on in OCS package directory of your system in transaction SPAM?

Thanks for the sharing Ganesan.

However, my system never has WEBCUIF installed as it is even not on 701. It's not possible for me to install it before the upgrade.
