Backlog is created with special stock indicator

Hello experts,

When doing MFBF, backlog is created for a component. When checking in MF47 , a special stock indicator "E" is exists in the screen for this particular component.. No such indicator "E" indicator is there for other component for same header material. Tried to find why it is coming there, but not able to find even on SDN.

Hello,

Do you have MTO scenario?

Check if planned orders have assignment of sales order.

If you want to post the components consumption as unrestricted stock then in MRP 4 view of you components define Individual/coll. = 2 Collective requirements only

Hi ,

Yes scenario is MTO using stretegy 81. Planned order is created with reference to sales order.

Also collective indicator is 2 for  that component. This component is at level 3.

Collective indicator is blank for its header, that is level 2 material and at level 1 and 0 also.

Hello,

For all the components which are having stock posting issue with reference to sale order stock E set the Individual/coll. = 2 Collective requirements only.  Create new planned order and do the MFBF backflush and check the results.
