Hi All,
Some times when our client is executing the reports, they are getting 500 Internal server error for the Bex web reports, but when they re-execute the reports, they worked fine.
We tried to replicate the issue but no success. Client is getting this error randomly not frequently.
This is very long pending issue we are not able to sort out. We need your help to identify the root cause of this.
Below is the screenshot of the error message client is getting.
Please let us know if any of you has gone through this type of issue, it would be a great help for us.
Thanks in Advance!!
Shailesh
Hello Goyal,
Check the BI Diagnostics tool:
SAP Note 937697
Basically take your portal URL and add the following:
irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.ip.bi.supportdesk.default
This report will bring all configuration issues of your Portal and tips about how to solve it.
Follow it, be sure that it is not reporting red alerts.
Best Regards,
Edward

Hi Edward,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, we have done the same and provided the diagnostic report to SAP AG two times. But SAP is asking it to replicate again and now we are not able to replicate the issue from our side.
Do you have any other things, which we need to check in contrast of this.
Thanks,
Shailesh
Check the sap note Note "917950 - SAP NetWeaver 2004s: Setting Up BEx Webu" - how to configure connection between ABAP and Java system along with sso ticket.

Hi Bhavin, Thanks for the information, but I didnt get your point here. Its not that we are getting this error everytime, it is coming very rare, most of the times BW reports works fine so I don`t think there might be any issue between ABAP and JAVA system connection. Do you have any other idea about this, which can help me to debug. Thanks, Shailesh
Hi Jyothi,
Thanks, but we have already discussed this with basis. They had already done the trace of the issue, but no conclusion came from that. Initially they suspect that it is coming because of less heap memory, so they increased the heap memory, but no success. User reported the issue again.
Since 3 months we are troubleshooting this, but unable to find the oot cause of the issue.
If any other here, got this kind of issue in their project or have gone through this, kindly let us know what kind of solution you have applied. It is extremely supportable.
Thanks,
Shailesh
