Hello community,

is it possible to open the function module documentation (in SE37 via Strg+F4, it opens the Performance Assistant) from ABAP in Eclipse directly?

Thanks for tips and hints.

Cheers

Stefan

There is possibility to jump to the documentation from F2 window, but it appears only from some releases of NW. Can't remember exactly from which.

Hello Lukasz,

thanks for your reply. I checked it but I can't find the possibility to jump.

I hope we have with 7.50 SP3 an actual NW release.

Please check when you'll put call function statement into the code.

Hi Stefan,

It does not work on the definiton of function modules, currently. It only works on usages of function modules.

Hello Lukasz,

thanks for your answer, it works - more or less, the service on our SAP system is not reachable

I see, we still have something to do

Hello community,

tiny addition:

It is necessary to activate the nodes

sap > public > bc > abap > toolsdocu

sap > bc > abap > toolsdocu

in the TAC SICF.

Cheers

Stefan

Hi Stefan,

Same answer as Lukasz (all credits go to him 😞

If you call a a function module, you can use Element Info (F2). If a documentation exists, there should be also a link to the documentation:

This feature requires release NW 7.40 SP8 or higher.

Kind regards,

Michael
