Hi All,
We have created an work order by selecting current date option on 23.08.2016 but the order actually has been completed last month and now my user user also wants to confirm the order with past date. So is there any possibility of changing the order creation date. Order status is only released, no operations confirmed on it.
Please help me out with this issue.
Thanks,
Naveen
Hello Naveen,
You can change the start and end dates in the production order i.e. you can keep the previous month dates also
the scheduling type should be only capacity requirements
while confirming the production order please ensure the Posting date(Either current date or previous dates) for posting the goods movements

Hello
Please confirm if you are facing any error
IF we are discussing the basic start dates and basic finish dates in the production order than as per my understanding there is no problem.
We can change the dates and also confirm the activity in co11n with the posting date as past.
System will just give you a warning message for the past dates.
Hope this helps

I assume you are talking about PM Order. Here the dates that identify an Order are the Basic Start Date/Time and Basic Finish Date/Time which you can change (Even in REL stage). While changing you will get a warning that Date is in the past, which you can over-ride by pressing Enter and Save the Order. Order creation date is nothing to do with these work order activity dates and we can not change this because it's purpose is for Action log records.
