    Hi,

i`m currently not aware of any changes to the Monitoring technique. But let us be honest. The way forward in the Software industry is HTML5 and i cannot imagine that SAP wants to miss that for the BI Platform.

For the current solution you way want to think about an integration to any kind of 3rd party monitoring tool which is not based on flash. Like SAP Solution Manager, IBM Tivoli, MS System Center Operations, etc.

    Regards

Administrator Cockpit is one alternative, Platform Support Tool is another and that Seb mentioned 3rd.

    Daniel,

SAP announced approx 2yrs ago that they will migrating away from FLASH & JAVA to more user friendly interface of HTML5. The first glimpse of this development can be seen in BI 4.2 CMC Admin Cockpit. The new users interface of the BI LaunchPad is also expected with BI 4.2 SP4.

You can see the R&D site to influence the new Fiori look and feel for BI LaunchPad & CMC
