Material Staging posting stock to Rcpt reservation

Dear Gurus,

I am trying to carry out material staging via. MF60 for raw material from raw material storage location to production storage location based on the requirement of production order. After the staging is completed the stock is moved to Rcpt reservation stock and not to unrestricted stock. Is this a normal process and if yes, then why it is not getting consumed at production order confirmation. If this is not a regular process, then how can it be moved to unrestricted at the time of material staging. Please provide inputs.

Thanks a lot.

Hello,

Have you executed MF60 for 311 movement? does the materials document is created for it?

Receipt Reservation is nothing but the quantity which is to be received against the reservation.

Did you check if you any reservation for the material in question?

Dear Brahmankar,

Yes I have executed MF60 to carry out 311 movement type. Creation of production order reserves the raw material. After doing material staging, it says data posted successfully, but there is no 311 movement happening. Only the Rcpt reservation is updated in MMBE.

While doing material staging using MF60, I am entering the production order number. In global settings screen I have checked "Stock transfer reservation" and in Dialog control tab, I have made stage replenishment proposals automatic.

Please guide if I have missed any settings.

Ashutosh

Hi,

I have missed doing Pull List posting using MF65.

Now the stock is moved from Rcpt reservation to unrestricted.

Apologies for the trouble.I was trying material staging for the first time.

Ashutosh
