Unable to process the leave request from My Inbox

Dear Experts,

We are trying to approve a leave request from launchpad using My Inbox App. When we try to do the open task the approve and reject buttons are disabled as shown in the below screen shot and it says "Your work-list is empty" and we are unable to process that leave request.

Could you please provide some pointers to get this issue resolved.
