Function not found in repository in SAP BODS 4.2SP06

Hi All,

I'm getting error "Function not found in the repository" when I use extract_from_xml function in a job in SAP BODS 4.2 SP06. I'm unable to see the function in Conversion category or anywhere using function wizard but I can see it when I type in a mapping it is auto populating. But the job is throwing error as the function not found in the repository. Repository version is 14.2.6.

Could you please let me know how can I get that field as I need to extract xml data from a xml datatype field from a table? or Please let me know if there is any other way to extract the xml data from a field?

Many Thanks..

Niranjan

I've found the solution. In order to use the function we need to create as New function call in the query. Then I'm able to see the function.

I have checked in my Designer and it seems to be a problem indeed as I couldn't see the function too.

Haven't had a chance to test any further.

    Thank you,

    Viacheslav.
