How to restrict invalid BoM selection in Production version

Hi All,

I have a requirement that, if BOM or Routing is made invalid (either BOM status made INACTIVE in Header or set DELETION flag for both BOM & ROUTING), in production version screen (Tcode: C223) the LIGHTS are to be displayed in RED as error indication when we click on check button

I've searched for Userexits/BAPI/Enhancements points but there are no such to suffice requirement.

Hello,

No User Exit and BAdi Available on it. You have to perform the consistency check and delete or lock inconsistent production versions. And C223 provide you mass option for it like plant.

If the BOM and Routing is invalid / Deletion flag activated then system will give the information message saying the Routing / BOM is invalid

with the warning message..

i don't understand why you are expecting the enhancement here

Yes. You are right, but for BOM when we change the status of BOM from ACTIVE to INACTIVE, system doesn't gives any Error. Though BOM is INACTIVE even after checking its consistency, the INDICATOR's are in GREEN.

Hello Kumar,

it is standard behavior of the system i.e. it will not check the BOM status

if you are aware the inactive status BOM contained production versions then you can be able to lock those production versions right
