Enabling Release Functionality in IP02

Hi there

I noticed in IP02 under "Maintenance Plan Schedule Calls" tab in the header, there are a bunch of buttons that are inactive. (Release Call, Fix Call, Skip Call etc)

I have tired to look at the Screen Layout settings to enable these fields but I cannot.

Wondering if someone knows what I am missing here.

Please see the attachment.

    Hi Mahesh,

Either in IP10 or in IP02, select line and then click on required button .It should work. For your information following are the details of each button. It is must before selecting button you need select the line .

    • Fix Call
    • You can update the planned date of call using this option.
    • Allows this option only if Predecessor call is either called OR complete status.
    • System will not allow to set planned date falling after the planned date of next call.
    • Skip call
    • Skip a particular call if you don’t want to execute a maintenance for that call.
    • Does not allow if call is already Called.
    • Allows this option only if Predecessor call is either called OR complete status.
    • Update scheduling
    • As the name suggest, it refreshes the call data for a plan.
    • Generally if you wan to update scheduling data externally from any other program instead of IP10, you you FM MPLAN_UPDATE_SCHEDULING
    • Selection date
    • This button gives you ease of accessing the calls for a specific period.E.g. If you have a list of around 100 or more number of calls for year, & if you want to go to a specific period ( e.g. August 2016) then you can do it using this button.
    • Call algorithm
    • Provides you details on call data with reference to previous call details, Start for scheduling etc.
    • Start in cycle
    • Date at which you start the plan using IP10.
    • Restart
    • This function will help you to restart a plan referring to new date ( in case of time based plans) or new start counter reading (in case of performance based plans).
    • Using this option, all on HOLD calls are deleted.
    • Manual call
    • As name suggests, you can force generate a call object on current date for a plan using this option.

    • Hi Mahesh,

To skip the call you need to do in IP10 only (i.e. schedule Maintenance Plan), the purpose of IP02 is to change the maintenance plan & here you do not have access to fix call / skip call / release / update scheduling / complete and this is the reason why it is greyed. Only buttons which are active here are selection date / call algorithm / display call object.

      Regards,
