How to set up SAPConnect / inbound mail in ERP 500 / SAP Basis 6.40

Hi,

I need to set up inbound email in an SAP ERP 500 system, running SAP Basis 6.40. I have never done that in such an old version, and thus I'm a bit stuck without documentation. SCOT is not enough, and I don't know which other transactions to visit.

Does anyone have some documentation about this setup for such old Versions? Or some experience to share, maybe. I assume it would be the same for 6.10/6.20 as well, if anyone has these help files at hand.

Hi Gorril,

As far as I remember the config change very little for inbound processing
