SAP BUSINESS OBJECTS ENTERPRISE XI 3.1 CLIENT TOOLS - Question

Hello,

I have a question. Currently we have SAP business objects X1 3.1 SP4 installed as our reporting server. Is it possible to use SAP Business objects X1 3.1 SP5 Client tools with the above server version? In other words is SP5 Client tools backward compatible?

Another problem, we are having is the Report Scheduling UI from Info view is not working and giving us a 404 error. We are using IE 11 and I am thinking that the IE11 is not able to correctly parse the relative path as I see something like below in the redirect to job scheduling URL

Is there a workaround for this?

    you should keep one question per post.
    For #1 - no, this will most likely not work. lower client - higher server might work, other way nope.
    For #2 - this needs to be investigated properly, http traces to compare with working env etc. test with different browsers etc...

    IE 11 is supported with BO 3.1 SP04 version.check in supported browser.

    Backward compatible is not supported.ideally if you are using client SP05 then your server should be on SP05.
