Hi
We have ATP control for CRTD and REL production order both looking at onhand free stock only without any receipt. I'm now testing the behavior with a clean raw material A (18 pieces in stock) and 3 production orders in COHV. Each of them need 10 pieces of A and Column Conf.Fact is indicating the percentage confirmed - 100 means all confirmed and 0 means nothing is confirmed. What's interesting is that it seems like the allocation is directly related to how the orders are sorted. The first one always gets 100% then the second gets 80% and the last one gets nothing. It's not looking at order status REL or requirement date or anything else but only in what sequence the orders are sorted. Is that normal?
for us order release can only happen when atp check is successful, which means 1476939 once got enough raw material A to be released. Then the expectation is that this order keeps the allocation at later atp checks. How to configure that logic?
Any input would be appreciated

Hi ,
It is not possible in R/3. Raw material ATP and Pegging is not locked. If you need to lock and keep Raw materials assigned to Production order , you have to use SAP SCM.
Material can be issued to any order even if it is reported to be on a particular order. ATP is performed at gross level in SPA R/3.
Best Regards
