Outbound IDocs ORDERS & ORDCHG

Hi All,

When creating a PO with schedule lines and outputting it via ORDERS or ORDCHG, we noticed that the schedule line numbers aren't included in the IDoc, and the schedule lines are simply sorted in chronological order. This isn't a problem if the original schedule lines were chronological, but sometimes they're not.

So when the PO comes back from the external system, SUS in our case, there doesn't appear to be an easy way to correlate the dates going into EKES with the dates in EKET.

Has anyone addressed this issue in the past? Or have any ideas on how to address it?

Thanks,
Seth

Hi Mohammad,

We don't know how often it is happening, but it does happen. If I create a PO item with a schedule that looks like this:

It outputs in chrono order, and when SUS kicks a response back to EKES, 9/9 becomes line 1 and 15/9 becomes line 2, etc. So the inbound lines don't match up to the outbound.

Any thoughts?

Regards,
Seth
