How to use Maximo adapter in PI/PO and how it works

Hi Folks,

i am going to use Maximo adapter to integrate with Maximo system from PI. Could any one please share your thoughts on my below concerns.

i. How to use Maximo adapter in PI/PO.

ii. What are the installation steps.

iii. How it works?

iv. Why Maximo? why not other adapter?

    Hi Dilip,

    Is there a Maximo adapter provided by SAP? i don't know anyone, or you are thinking in one adapter provided by a third company?

    As far as I know Maximo provide Rest connectivity and PI has the Rest adapter (Since PI 7.31 SP14 / 7.4 SP09).

    If Maximo developers can provide their functionality in this way you will can use the SAP Rest adapter.

    Dear Dileep,

    SAP does not provide support for the Maximo (IBM Primavera Adapter). If you would like to configure this scenario, and would like to use the SAP Support as well for this, have to find an other way. Please check note 2079417 for further information about the supported adapters by SAP.
