Certificate ends in 2 days

Hi

Is there anyone who can help me identify what does it mean by SAP CA to whom we will send the generated certificate request for our application servers. Our standard certificate will be expiring in 2 days time and we are not sure who to contact to or to whom can we send to renew the certificate. Am also wondering if there is any implications on our side?

Hello Tess,

I dont think you need to worry renewing it. If you have screenshot of it let me know I can check for you.

Hello,

Looks Like you have this certificate signed by signing authority. You better renew it from where you got it signed.

TCode: STRUST

Thank you Yogesh..

Did you mean from the vendor who installed SAP to us?

Hi,

Expand the folder "SSL client SSL client (Standard)" and double click on entry. On the right side, you will see the "Certificate List". These are the list of certificates for SSL client standard. Then double click on certificate from the "Certificate List", when you double click on it, you can see the details of the certificate like, issuer, subject, valid from and valid to etc which will be helpful for renewing it.

Hi Ganesan,

The details seem are not telling me exactly the renewal options..

Hi,

It seems that the certificate is issued by "ausyd5755.au.deloitte.com". If "DELOITTE" is your organization, then you need to reinstall this certificate with new validity. The below link may help you on this.

Thank you Ganesan - we were able to pull out the certificate, the only problem is who is the CA we will contact to in Australia. At the moment, we are seeking the vendor to assist. Many Thanks for everyone's help.

Kind Regards, Tess

Thank you Yogesh - much appreciated.

The vendor replied telling us that it is a "self-signed" certificate so there should be no worry. I think we will just have to supress this message for now and create a new one that does not have a expiry.

Many Thanks
