Customer Specific Price List - Item Status "Not Released"

Hi all,

I´m having the following problem with a Customer Specific Price List:

The Status of the Price List is "Released" but the Status of one Item Line is "Not Released".

Additionally a Quality Control Inspection was still in process for the same Product.

After a while the Quality Monitoring was processed and by releasing the Customer Specific Price List again, the Item Status changed also to "Released".

Our assumption is that the Item Status within the Customer Specific Price List could not be "Released" while the Quality Inspection was still in process.

Is there anybody who had similar experiences? Or has anybody a different explanation why the Item Status was "Not Released"?

Thanks for your answers in advance.

Best regards

    hello Lena,

If the Item Status of price list is 'Not Released' ,then the overall status of Price List can not be "Released".It will be "Partially Released" (Or "Not Released").

    ***Workaround :=>

Can you please try making the below dummy change in your Price List .

1.Edit your Customer Specific Price List->Go to Items tab ->select the Item which is having the

    status as 'Not Released'.

2.Remove that line-item and add the same Item(i.e. Product again).

3.Try to release this product .

=>Check after following above 3 step ,does the status of your Price List both at Item level and Header level is correctly update as "Release".

If Yes , please close this thread setting as correct.

If No ,I would suggest to report incident to SAP side.

    Best Regards,

    Ankush Pashine.

      Hi Ankush,

      Thanks for your answer.

The status of the price list Item was "Not Released" and the overall Status was "Released".

It was not "Partially Released" or "Not Released". This made me wonder, too, but it was.

I´ve also removed and added the same item again, but the status was "Not Released" again.

      Best regards,

    Hello Lena,

This may happen when adding new product into the price list.

To avoid this issue, there are 2 workarounds:

    1. After adding new product into the price list, dont click SAVE button. Instead, click Release button directly. (this will firstly save the price list and then trigger release action).

    2. After adding new product into the price list, click SAVE button. close this price list, and refresh the view list. Re-open the price list and click Release button.

For the affected price list, you need to cancel the price list, copy it to a new price list with the same name and then try to release it by using either way mentioned above.
