IE36-Display Vehicle List -Gross un Weight and UOM issue

Hi Experts ,

I have mentioned Weight as 12000- TON in Equipment master data for fleet object. 

In transaction IH08  Display Equipment List I  can see Weight and Unit as menioned i.e 12000 TON,

But in Transaction IE36 Display Vehicle List I see that Weight and Unit comes with conversion i.e 10,886,208 KG.

Can someone suggest what should i do to? i want to see Weight and Unit in IE36 as i mentioned in Equipment master i.e in 'TON'

The Unit TON is  US ton (also called Short Ton) the conversion of which is 907.18474 kg

You need to use a Unit which is equal to 1000 kgs

In my system it is TO (See the picture below of 'Mass' units in tcode CUNI ).

If you do not have such Unit, you need to create one, where the detail screen would look this way.

Then use TO in place of TON in Fleet master.

Secondly, you have to go with the KG unit in IE36 .

Hi Jogeswara,

On conversion i will concentrate later.

Issue here is if Transaction IE36  run by another user Weight and Unit comes as it is like 12000 TON.

If I am executing transaction IE36 for me weight and Unit comes as 10,886,208 KG.

I want  for me it should also display as 12000 TON.  (as  mentioned in master data).

Could you please share screen shot of IE36  which is being used by another user showing weight & unit as mentioned above.

You have two versions:

• First you wrote that the Unit difference is in IH08 vs IE36.
• Now you are saying that you have unit difference within IE36 for different users.

Please confirm.

As already mentioned, according to me you can not have Weight unit  other than  KG in IE36  .

Your issue is clear which demands:

• Prepare to have KG as unit in IE36
• Change the unit in Vehicle Masters (IE02) from Short Ton (907.18kg) to  1000kg Ton as I already explained.
• Then you will have value 12,000,000 kg  in IE36 report.

Hi PSR and Jogeswara,

In IE36- Vehicle Dispaly Report , Weight and Unit display is same for different users.

Sorry for that, Its my mistake.

@ Jogeswara:  In Equipment master I changed  Weight Unit as TO  (for 12 Ton )  now in IE36 I am getting as 12000 Kg
