Dear all
I have following problem:
My customer manages some of his own materials in vendor consignment (he wants to avoid a valuation of this stock in this valuation area). Because it is his own stock, he would like to avoid any FI posting (posting key KON etc.) if this stock is goods issue posted. The final FI posting happens in an external system.
Does anybody see a solution for something like that? System is ERP ECC6.0 EHP7.
Any feedback appreciated!
Thanks
Kurt
I don't know if anything in regard to consignment has changed in EHP7, but in lower releases you only need to have an consignment info record to do a goods issue. If the message M7234 is set as warning then you you do not need any valid price in the info record. SAP will then create an entry with 0 in the settlement table RKWA.
FI postings will usually happen, but they should then be zero.
SAP does not recommend to make this message a warning it might create issues when someone cancels the movements and a price was maintained in the meantime. If you don't do that then you should be safe.
Hi,
You can work in reverse way!
Once external system document posted, then you replicated from external system to ECC in such that, in ECC - your consignment stock posted with goods issue at same time.
If you follow consignment process- you need to post goods issue which later help for consignment settlement which in turn later you can pay to your vendor.
