Early Watch Alert authorizations

Hi Everyone,

I have configured EWA in solution manager 71 sps04.

when i try open DISPLAY HTML REPORT  it shows "you do not have the required authorization to display the report".But I was able to open the repirt when i have SAP_ALL.

how to achieve my requirement without having sap_all.And all roles provided as per security guide but no luck.

Any suggestions on this.

Hello Manikanta,

these roles are necessary if you want to view EWA HTML reports from technical monitoring tab.

SAP_SMWORK_BASIC

SAP_SMWORK_TECH_MON

SAP_SM_BASIC_SETTINGS_DISPLAY

No SAP_ALL is needed.

(Tested on Solution Manager 7.1 SPS13, so i can't guarantee that it works on SPS04 also.  )

Hi MK,

I think SU53 does not shows the web related missing authorizations, don't sure about that..

With which user you create EWA ? Please copy that user role to your role....

	SAP_SERVICE_REQUEST_ALL
	SAP_SM_SOLUTION_ALL
	SAP_SMSY_DIS
	SAP_SMWORK_BASIC_SERVICES
	SAP_SMWORK_SERVICE_DEV
	SAP_SMWORK_SYS_MON

It is working fine if i have "SAP_ALL" profile.

Please refer security guide for your solution manager SP level for all the required role details related to EWA.

Found below roles in SP12 security guide which are related to configuration and EWA.

Please try role SAP_SMWORK_SYS_MON_SPC.

You can see the missing authorization using translation SU53.
