mapping for empty field?

Dear ALL,

I have small requirement that is when source feild is empty at the time mapping will be fail and throw the an error is feild is missing.

I'm using 0 to 1 and string

can any one give me suggestion what is the best way to do this mapping,it is possibale for graphical mapping without UDF.

    Hello Kiran,

    If the source field is empty you wish to throw error?

    Then make the target as 1 and try the below logic

    Source----------------------------------

    equals-----------------not----------if

    Constant--------------------------------

    []

    Then-----------------------Target

    Kiran, please take a look at - it discusses exactly the same requirement as you raised.

    If you need to raise a customized error message in case the source field is empty, you will need to use UDF for that.
