universe generation failed for resource id xml version=1.0

Hi Experts,

we are using BICS connection Backend Bex query. when we are running the report its giving universe generation failed for resource id xml version=1.0 Error.

Please give any suggestions how to resolve the issue.

Hi Bhargav,

1. Are you facing the same issue with newly created reports as well or only with existing ones?
2. Is it also happening when logging in using a BO Administrator account with Enteprise authentication?

Please create a new OLAP connection for testing purposes and try re-pointing the existing reports.

Also make sure that the required security rights are granted for the connection.

what is the authentication mode in the BICS connection? is BEx query running in BW?

We are using SAP authentication.  bex query working fine
