Generic Datasource on HANA Model

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to create a Generic Datasource through RSO2.

I want to extract data from a HANA Model.

In HANA Studio I have create a Dictionary View (ZV_SO_ITEM_CV) on the model, which I am able to see in SE11 and I can also preview data.

When I try to create the Datasource in RSO2 i use "Extraction from View"

And the view ZV_SO_ITEM_CV as input to the "Table/View" in "Extraction from DB View"

When I save I get the error:

Only transparent tables and database views can be extracted

And I believe I have a perfectly valid database view.

Anyone have who knows what the error is or have another way to achieve this.

HI Rasmus,

Can you check the link SAP HANA as a Data Source. It specifies the limitations with regards to use of HANA models as Data source.

There is nothing in it that should restrict this from being valid.
