POWL Inbox is not refreshing automatically after HCM P&F approve/reject action

Hi All,

We are facing one issue in POWL inbox in ESS/MSS. After the HCM processes and Forms work item approval action taken by the manager, the work item is not refreshing from the inbox automatically. Explicitly if we are pressing 'Refresh' button then only work item is disappearing from the inbox.

Could any one please suggest if we need to do any enhancement or any configuration to achieve this functionality.

Many thanks for your support 😊

Regards,

Deviprasad

Generally approval processing/infotype update in backend, its take some additional time for getting the things committed.

If you go to POWL immediately then it won't reflect until you refresh.

Many thanks Yugandhar for the response.

Yes thats right, But even after some time also the work item is not refreshing from the inbox automatically unless we click manual refresh button.

Anyway i found the solution and implemented the same and now it is working fine.

We need to do a configuration in SPRO->Cross Application Components->Processes and Tools for Enterprise Applications-> Inbox-> Set Refresh Interval

Along with this you need to do the change in Tcode POWL_QUERY-> Query Id: ASR_HRADMIN_INBOX_WI_QUERY -> select the check box 'Sync. call' and Refresh Type as 'On every List Visit'.
