Connect to AWS Hana (SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications) issue

Use case description:

- Create amazon service instance from https://cal.sap.com/ for trial version of hybris marketing.

- From the technical document provided by SAP, can connect to Hana database via SAP Hana Studio with providing IP address from Amazon on instance 00, user name: SYSTEM, port:50215.

- Result: cannot connect to Hana. More: using telnet to check, it seems the port 50215 is closed, same with some others: 30015,30215,32015...

Does any one has such experience please help me.

Thanks !

Dear Nguyen,

HANA studio connects to HANA DB via port 3$$15 in your case it should e 30215. If you have created AWS HANA Instance for the above, Please check if you have allowed all the 3$$15, 3$$14, 80$$,43$$, 5$$13, 5$$14 ports from AWS. You can also check this using telnet <IP> <PortNo>.

I am not aware of hybris marketing, but as per the logs port is not opened to connect with hana studio.

- AWS allows to telnet to port 44300,44303 (CRM), 3300 (ERP) but not 3xx15.
- Not like SAP HANA One package provided by Amazon, which already has build-in Hana and has clearly documents guiding to connect Hana via SAP HANA Studio, I guess Amazon just provide machine only (Suse Linux Enterprise) and SAP will, somehow, to install Hana on this machine.

- The document said user can login to Hana from Hana Studio via default SYSTEM user with master password but actually I can not.
