DART Extract for France - French DART - FI Control Totals

Hi Everyone,

Am facing the following issue with French DART implementation.

Control Totals not balancing

Am extracting for Period 5 for FY2011 for a single company code.

FI Control Totals do not balance – Item totals are less than Account balances(Extract Spool) - it seems that the calculations are done based on posting date and not posting period here.

However, G/L Account balances validate via view 1SAP_FI07 (DART) and report S_ALR_87012277(SAP).

DART 2.7 was updated to 2.8 and all the French OSS notes have been implemented thereafter as recommended(2162977, 2239257, etc).

The note that is meant to correct the Control Totals issue has been applied(2066693) but fails to fix it.

The cause could be the order of the OSS notes implemented but having checked the same I cannot find anything amiss here.

Has anyone come across this before? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Glenn,

    I would recommend to check the issue by creating your own DART-view. This will help in understanding whether there is a calculation problem in one particular view or in whole item balance.

    Create a view with similar fields as 1SAP_FI07 and try to execute it. I had done for FR company code but didn't face any issue regarding balances.
