Hi Team,
We are going for the Embedded hub model and we have 2 multiple back-ends servers (ECC and SRM)
We are using ECC system as an Embedded system for Front end and Back end components.
As per approach we will load all the SRM(PO) related frontend components/ECC(HCM)frontend components( UISRM200 100, UIHR001 100) as well as all Central and gateway add-ons in ECC system.
We will also load all backend add-ons in ECC (GBX01HR 600 - SP 0) and SRM.
In this scenario how many launch pads comes up, as we are using ECC system for Launchpad and also we are using SRM backed to get PO data.
We are going for 3App (SRM,ECC) and our daily volume for these 3 application transactions are not more than 1000.
Will it be suitable for Production environment as client is not willing to go for Central Hub.
Please provide your suggestion for the above points.
Regards,
Krishna
Hi Krishna,
Regarding your question, below you can find the answers:
1) how many launch pads comes up?
You are going to have just one launchpad that will be located in your ECC server.
2) Will it be suitable for Production environment?
It will not be suitable for production to use a SAP Business Suite System with embedded deployment as a hub system for additional backend system.
The reason is that this might lead to a situation where the SAP NetWeaver Gateway release of the hub system is lower than the version of the SAP NetWeaver Gateway backend components of the remote backend system.
Such a situation can occur because it might not be possible to upgrade the hub system at the same time as the backend system. Internal policies might dictate that a SAP Business Suite system that is used as a hub must not be upgraded.
To avoid such a situation the recommended approach is to choose one of the following options:

Hi Krishna,
There are other options for landscape setup. How about using SAP Fiori cloud edition? See the diagram No.1 Cloud+ERP.
