What are the differences between using DS on BO platform, on NW or on HANA?

Hi experts,

for a client we like to introduce Design Studio. Now we want to know if there are differences in functions and features of using Design Studio on a BO platform, on NetWeaver, or on HANA.

I already read the PAM for Design Studio 1.6 and found out that not all functions (e.g. Export to PDF) are available for the different Add-Ons (see picture).

However, I wonder if we have to use these Add-Ons if we are working with HANA? Or can we still use the Design Studio Client and have full functionality with HANA?

Is there a presentation of SAP available which explains the differences, advantages and disadvantages of using Design Studio on the different platforms.
