How to restrict Date characterstic blank (#) from BEx output

Hello Experts.

I need your expert help in finding a solution of my issue.

Issue: I have to restrict Posting date where there is no value in the date column. I have applied below link solution but i think i am still missing something.

In Bex Designer how to restrict date characteristic for NULL value.

I have already created formula variable put it in key figure column side and created condition on this formula but in the output i can still see # where there is no date.

i need to remove this # from the query out put .

I have attached the screenshot of formula variable & condition.

cant you go to filter screen and use posting date and right click on it and use # then make it red for exclude .
