Hi Colleagues,
I would have a question regarding partner determination in the functional location master data. I try to describe our situation as well as I can:
We have maintained partners X and Y in the customer master data. When we create a functional location, we maintain sold-to-party, partner X and partner Y in the functional location master data.
Now the problem is that if partner X and Y are changed in the customer master data, it does not trigger any update on the functional location master data.
I would ask your help, if there is any way to automate that any partner updates done in customer master data would also update the same partners in the FL master data?
Best regards,
Paul
Paul,
That is standard behavior.
One option is to run check after the customer master has been updated and inform the user of any data objects that need updating e.g. flocs, equipment, order, notifications.
Alternatively you could write an "inconsistency report" that you run periodically (maybe in batch) that looks for data inconsistencies like this.
