Auto notification from system

Dear all,

i woule like to ask a question,

as we issue a SNCR ticket to our supplier,

how to set the system to make it could automatically notify system user?

Because it is time-consuming to search each supplier and check status one by one.

I found the following:

I'm going to guess Shipping confirmation Notiification Recod?  Maybe Shipping Confirmation Noncomformance Record? But none of these are listed on the Acronym dictionaries available on the web.

Are these related to QM?  What are you checking in the system about the vendor?  A Q-score?  An approval?  A Quality leverl? etc. etc..

Does the notification need to go out in real time?  When an order is placed?  As a monthly batch job? Upon user request?

No clue how to help you with this.

Hi Lee,

I am not sure what is your SNCR Ticketing process, and if there is any SAP intervention or not. Please can you provide us some clues about it, and let us know what exactly you are doing here.

May be our proposals (Use Workflow, or Follow-action, custom program, etc) will be linked to the process you are following, and you get your process gap fixed.
