Costing variant and Production version

Hi

Gurus,

Im a PP consultant, don't have much expertise in CO. Im using production versions for a material. Each material has 2 routings which are assigned in production versions. Both routings have different workcenters and those workcenters have different cost centers. My client wants to do a costing run. He wants to see costing impacts in both lines of the same material separately. In ck11n system shows option for Production version selection, by this I assume his requirement can be fulfilled. But he wants to use CK40n. Is there any way to full fill this requirement. Kindly let me know if I wasn't able to properly communicate the technicalities of this issue. Below are the screen shots of ck11n and ck40n.

Hi

As suggested by Owen there is no functionality available in CK40N.

But If you want compare the cost estimate then do CK40N with production version maintain in material master and also do CK11N for other production version and you can compare it in S_P99_41000111 report.

If you are thinking about mixed costing check below link for multiple production version

Hi Shankar,

The default production version will be determined according to the setting in material master Costing 1 view.

With CK40N it's not possible to select production version manually.
