preference calculation system stillstand

Hello Experts,

When we run a preference calculation it comes to overflow of transaction log (20 GB) which leads to standstill of the system. What could be the cause of this system behavior and what would you recommend to solve this issue?

    Hello,

    For how many products you are running the preference determination and which version of GTS you are using ?

      Arshad,

      Yes, I do use the Preference very often and faced the similar issue in the past but not lately.

      Try the below notes.

      2286993 - Preference: Calculation log: Response times not sufficient


      Based on the GTS version you gave above below note will not be relevant but check it out.
