Production Order Material issue limit

HI all,

I just start to learn SAP Business One and encounter one bothering issue. Please kindly share with me your knowledge how to solve this issue.

scenario as below;

1. create one production order today, and release this order on the later day (for example 3 days later).

2. intend to issue material to production order today but it is not allowed, however, I can do this at the next day when I checked the next day. I doubt this is due to some date limitation.

Can anyone show me how this is controlled? or any document can explain all this.

Where do you come from? HK?

What's the production order status?

Do you have enough material for production?

Any error message?

Please capture the screen.

I am from Taiwan not HK.

the production order status is "released" and planning date is 3 days later.

I have put enough inventory in stocking warehouse

the error message is item xxx does not have stock on date xx.xx.xx

the production order planning date is in the future. I created a production order 3 days later. and I encounter error while I tried to issue material to production order

I see that the resource is -2. it mean that you assign two people to do it and you will use two special equipment to make it?

browser access vs thin client, browser access is smooth or not?

Hi Edmund,

I have found the cause, it is due to the lead time setup in the item mater. After I setup reasonable lead time in my item master planning data I could issue the stock I need manually to production order. Which means I need to advise users maybe longer lead  time number is needed if they want to manually issue stock to production order earlier than planning date.

do you have any other experience for sharing?

No, it is installed in our IDC. Just use RDS to access B1
